5. “Honor thy father and mother.”

Honor your parents. 

This commandment means to show respect for my parents.  I must obey my parents, and adults must respect and take care of their parents, when they become old.  This applies to my daily life by being kind to my Mom and Dad and not talking back to them and doing what they ask me to do.
